Bharat Bandh: Second day evokes good response across state

Bengaluru: The Bharat Bandh called by labour organisations against the anti-labour policies of the central government on Wednesday evoked good response across the state and majority of labour organisations took to the streets ànd protested against the central government policies.


'Buy-backs, dividends to govt left HAL poorer by Rs 15,500 Cr'

Bengaluru: As acrimonious exchanges continued over the alleged neglect of HAL, a top leader of its employees Wednesday claimed the state-run undertaking got poorer by nearly Rs 15,500 crore because of the dividends and buy-backs it made to the Centre from 2003 to 2018.
