Former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy Monday said he would be pleased if the abolition of Article 370 of the Constitution brought peace to Jammu and Kashmir.

Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services has deployed more than  200 personnel, boats to undertake rescue operations in the flood areas in Belagavi, Bagalkot, Raichur and Yadgiri Districts in the State and as many as 50 members of the State Disaster Response Force from the Belagavi and Kalaburagi  Region besides boats and water tenders.
