Chikkamagaluru limits entry of vehicles from September 1 to ease road congestion

Starting September 1, tourists visiting popular destinations in Chikkamagaluru, such as Mullayanagiri, Seethalayanayagiri, Sri Guru Dattatreya Bababudan Swamy Dargah, and Manikyadhara, will face strict vehicle entry restrictions as part of a new initiative by the district administration to reduce congestion on the narrow, winding roads.


Property registration fee doubled in Karnataka from 1% to 2%

Property registrations in Karnataka have become costlier, as the State government on Friday announced a hike in the registration fee from 1% to 2% for all properties, as reported by The Hindu. This increase is aimed at helping the state recover from recent revenue shortfalls.
