Metrology officers raid 695 jewellery shops across the state

In a sudden raid, authorities of the Department of Legal Metrology on Thursday raided jewellery shops and showrooms, booked 172 cases against the culprits, and collected fine of Rs. 1.29 lakh.

CCB raids Janardhan Reddy's house; investigation continues

Ballary: The CCB officials have intensified the investigation against BJP leader G Janardhana Reddy, who is accused of receiving 57 kg of gold in a bid to negotiate with ED officials to help Ambident Group. The CCB officers carried out a raid at Reddy's house in Ballary today morning.
