Bengaluru: A 72-year-old woman has given rebirth to her 42-year-old son by donating her kidney as he was suffering from kidney failure at Hiriyur in Chitradurga district.

By new year, the existing 108 ambulances would have a facelift with hi-tech touch. Preparations are in full swing to provide technology-enabled ambulance service by coming new year. A tender is given to a private company to prepare a policy for this purpose.
