On the lines of #Metoo, a group of 15 people, including a former French diplomat acquitted in a sexual abuse case in 2017, has launched a #MenToo movement, asking men to come out and speak openly about the sexual harassment faced by them at the hands of women.

Funeral of mortal remains of Dr. Siddalinga Swamiji of Tontadarya Mutt of Gadag, who passed away on Saturday, was completed on the premises of the Mutt on Sunday evening with full state honours.

Out of five suspected H1N1 virus cases till October 17 this year in the district, three cases were tested positive, district surveillance officer Dr. M. Shivakumar said.
