Noted critic, poet Dr. Sumatheendra Nadig no more

Well-known critic Dr. Sumatheendra Nadig (83) passed away at 6: 25 in Bengaluru today morning. Three days ago, he was admitted to the Fortis Hospital in Bannerghatta Road in Bengaluru, due to age-related ailments.

It has been reported that Nadig's body will be kept for public viewing at Maya Indraprastha Apartment on Kanakapura Road.


Pejawar Seer responds to Bhagavan statement

Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt said that the educated people should not divide the religion.

Responding to the statement of Prof KS Bhagavan on Basavanna and Swami Vivekananda here on Monday, Swamiji said that Bhagavan was an educated and rationalist. Such persons should not indulge in dividing the religion. They should work to take everyone together. His statement was baseless, he said.
