The Karnataka Congress government has taken the position that the High Court's decision to quash the chargesheet against Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji of Ramachandrapura Math, the first accused, and RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, the third accused, in the Shyam Prasad Shastri suicide case, is "not against the government's interest."

Four more bodies were recovered during the search and rescue operation after an under-construction building collapsed in Babusapalya here, police said on Wednesday.

"A survey will be conducted across the city to identify illegal buildings. I will instruct the Revenue Department not to register properties that do not comply with building regulations.
