Karnataka Congress to check in all MLAs in city hotel ahead of RS polls

Bengaluru: Apparently aimed at keeping the flock together ahead of the Rajya Sabha polls, all ruling Congress MLAs in Karnataka will stay put together at a hotel here on Monday after the budget session of the state legislature concludes and will later also travel together for voting the next day.

 


No issues over alliance and seat-sharing with BJP for LS poll: HD Kumaraswamy

Bengaluru: Karnataka JD(S) President H D Kumaraswamy on Friday said there are no issues with respect to his party's alliance with the BJP, and also regarding seat sharing between the two parties in the state for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The former Chief Minister also did not rule out the possibility of his brother-in-law and noted cardiac surgeon Dr C N Manjunath contesting the Lok Sabha election.
