IRGC warns of further retaliation if provoked; Qatar says missiles intercepted, no casualties

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed that it launched a missile strike on the US-operated Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, calling it a direct response to American airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. The operation, according to the IRGC, was coordinated with the Supreme National Security Council of Iran.


Iran clarifies missile strike not aimed at ‘brotherly’ Qatar

Following its missile strike on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council issued a statement on Monday clarifying that the action was not aimed at the Qatari state or its people.

Doha/Tehran: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has officially confirmed that it launched a missile strike targeting the United States’ Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. The operation, named “Annunciation of Victory,” also reportedly includes strikes on US military installations in Iraq.
