Pune set to welcome India’s second 3D-printed post office, Following Bengaluru's lead

Pune is set to house India’s second post office built using 3D printing technology, with the construction expected to be completed in under three months. Dattatray Varadhi, Assistant Superintendent of Post Office for the Pune Region, shared that the building will be unique, as it will not rely on traditional vertical pillars, bricks, or steel. Instead, a specialized type of cement will be used for 3D printing. The post office will be located in Sahakar Nagar, with the tendering process currently underway, and operations are anticipated to begin next year.

 


Additional District Magistrate found dead at his quarters in Kerala

A day after he was given a send-off by his colleagues, including the Kannur District Collector, from the north Kerala district, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Naveen Babu was found dead at his quarters in Pallikunnu here on Tuesday.

Man beaten to death in Mumbai road rage incident, nine arrested

A 28-year-old man, identified as Akash Maeen, was beaten to death following a road rage incident in Malad, Mumbai, on Saturday. The incident occurred near Pushpa Park when an autorickshaw collided with Maeen's vehicle while overtaking. Maeen, a worker for the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, was accompanied by his parents at the time.
