LIC organises Fit India Swachhata Freedom Run 4.0

“Fit India Swachhata Freedom Run 4.0” was organized with the theme “Clean India, Healthy India” today by Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Zonal Office, Hyderabad. Fit India Swachhata Freedom Run was flagged off by LK Shamsunder, Zonal Manager from Zonal Office via Mint Compound, Imax, Lumbini Park and back to Zonal Office.


SC laments air pollution in Delhi, directs 5 states to file affidavits on remedial efforts

Noting that air pollution persists in the national capital despite several remedial steps having been taken by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), the Supreme Court on Tuesday directed Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan governments to file affidavits enumerating measures initiated by them to control it.
