Allahabad HC restrains Al Jazeera from telecasting film 'India....Who lit the Fuse?'

Prayagraj (UP): The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday restrained Al Jazeera Media Network Private Ltd from telecasting the film "India....Who lit the Fuse?" in the country, considering the "seriousness" of allegations made in a PIL against the movie.

 


Gujarat HC orders production of rape accused to explore possibility of 'compromise'

Ahmedabad: Hearing the plea of a 16-year-old rape survivor seeking permission for abortion, the Gujarat High Court on Thursday asked the authorities to produce the accused so that the possibility of a "compromise" between him and the girl could be explored.
