Mayawati in her affidavit said that her statues and monuments in Lucknow and Noida are a symbol of public sentiment. “Given my work and sacrifice for the deprived and oppressed community during my tenure as Chief Ministers and being a Dalit woman leader, the statues are a symbol of respect and public sentiment towards me,” said Mayawati.
