Judges are not 'fearful saints', have to be 'fearless preachers': SC

New Delhi: Judges are not "fearful saints" and cannot be intimidated or insulted and they have to be "fearless preachers" to preserve the independence of the judiciary which is necessary for the survival of democracy, the Supreme Court said Friday.
