Good question, Rahul to Gadkari on 'Where are the jobs'

Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday took a potshot at the Narendra Modi-led government over the unemployment issue after one of his cabinet ministers conceded that there is a job crunch.

"Excellent question (Nitin) Gadkariji. Every Indian is asking the same question. Where are the jobs," Gandhi tweeted attaching a news report in which the Union Road Transport and Shipping Minister questioned the rationality behind a job reservation stir when there were not enough jobs in the first place.


Former Madras HC judge now working as a farmer after retirement

Two videos of former Madras High Court judge A Selvam have been going viral on social media for the last few days, for all good reasons. Clad in a T-shirt and a pair of shorts, and a towel tied around his head, the veteran judge is seen ploughing a field on a tractor with aplomb.

After his superannuation at the age of 62, A Selvam took off to his native Pulankurichi in Tiruppattur Taluk of Sivaganga district, to pursue what he always wanted to do - agriculture.

Hyderabad jail warden untraced after sending suicide note

A warden of Cherlapally Jail here remained untraced after sending a suicide note and selfie video to higher authorities late on Sunday.

K. Srinivas alleged in the suicide note and video that the jail superintendent has been harassing him. The warden held him responsible for his death.
