Sullia: In a moving incident a elderly woman had to walk about 15 kms to get emergency medicine prescribed by doctor. The incident was reported from Sullia on Friday.

An elderly woman from Kollamogru had to walk for 15 kilometers to get emergency medicines as vehicles were not available owing to the country-wide lockdown due to the spread of coronavirus.

The locals noticed the elderly woman was exhausted and informed local authorities. Gram Panchayath President Achyutya Guthigar, PDO Shyamprasad and emergency task force arrived at the spot and sent the woman home on a vehicle.
