Bantwal: The flyover at Kalladka in the taluk was opened on Monday, June 2 for public use, after a long wait of around eight years, when the work continued on the stretch.
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) permitted on pilot basis traffic movement on the 2.1-km long flyover that connects Mani to BC Road.
The construction work of the flyover on the 64-km long National Highway 75 stretch from BC Road till Addahole in Bantwal taluk had been started in 2017. The work, however, had been stalled repeatedly for various reasons and took eight years to complete.
