Mulki: Muslim Ikya vedike stages protest against rapes across the country
Mulki: Condemning rape incidents across the country, Muslim Ikya vedike staged a protest at Karnadu junction here on Friday.
Mulki Jamat president Iqbal Ahmed, PFI district committee member AK Ashraf and BM Asif addressed the protesters.
Karnadu and Mulki office bearers, local organisations' leaders and office bearers were present. Later, they submitted a memorandum to tahsildar.

Mangaluru: The counting of votes for the Dakshina Kannada Local Authorities Constituency by-election to the Legislative Council has begun.
After opening the ballot boxes and mixing the total ballot papers, the counting process commenced.
Central Election Observer Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan, and Udupi Deputy Commissioner Vidyakumari are present at the counting centre.
