Benglauru: MLA Haris' son Mohammad Nalapad, who has been convicted in the Vidwat assault case, had filed a petition seeking relaxation of his bail so that he could visit Makkah. But the High Court adjourned the hearing until May 14 and said, "You go anywhere but committed sins cannot be cleaned."

Nalapad has been formally charged with attempting to kill(IPC section 307) Vidwath L, the son of a businessman, during an altercation at Farzi Café in the upscale UB City on February 2018. He was arrested a few days after the incident.

On June 2018, the high court granted him bail on the condition that he would not leave the jurisdiction of the trial court without prior permission.
