Seven mobile phones along with four knives recovered
Mangaluru: A police team led by the new Mangaluru Police Commissioner, Sandeep Patil, raided the District Jail of Mangaluru on Sunday morning.
According to the reports, the team has recovered seven mobile phones and 4 knives from the jail cells. DCP Law and Order Hanumanataraya and DCP Crime, Uma Prashant were also part of the raiding team.
This is the first raid conducted by the new Police Commissioner, Sandeep Patil since taking charge of the top post on Friday, February 22.

Reports claim Burj Al Arab hit by Iranian missile, videos surface
Dubai: Unverified reports circulating on social media claim that the Burj Al Arab has been hit by an Iranian missile, with videos showing part of the building engulfed in flames.
The footage, which has not been independently verified, appears to show fire and smoke rising from a section of the hotel.
However, there has been no official confirmation from UAE authorities regarding any strike on the Burj Al Arab.
