Mangaluru, November 13: A bike rider died in a series of accidents happened near KPT at Nantur in the city on Tuesday evening.
The bike rider rammed a car from the rear. When the bike rider fell on the road, a private bus ran over him killing him on the spot. Mangaluru East Traffic police visited the spot. But they are waiting for more details on the victim.

Mangaluru: The city police have arrested a man accused of showing a knife, assaulting a female employee at a medical shop in Naguri and stealing ₹19,300 from the shop's cash drawer.
The accused, identified as Sunil (31) from Bondel Patrakodi, was taken into custody following an investigation into the incident, which was lodged on the afternoon of February 28.
Police recovered ₹17,500 in cash from the accused, along with a scooter used in the crime and other assets valued at ₹1,20,000.
The operation was led by Mangaluru South Division Assistant Commissioner of Police Dhanya Naik, with Inspector T.D. Nagaraj of Kankanadi Nagar Police Station heading the team. PSI Vinayak Bhavikatti, along with officers Shivakumar, Jayanand, Sandeep, Rajesab, Gangadhar, Raghavendra, and Pradeep, as well as staff from the South Sub-Division Office, played a significant role in apprehending the accused and recovering the stolen property.
