Kapu: Tanker collides with Eicher, three injured
Kapu: Three persons, including tanker driver, were reportedly injured when in a collision between an Eicher Tempo and a truck on National Highway 66 near Pangal.
The tempo, which was going to Mangalore from Udupi, hit by the tanker from the rear side. Following which the tempo driver lost control over the vehicle and the tempo toppled on the divider. The locals tried their best to protect the driver.
In the same way, the people traveling in Eicher were also injured.
Kapu police visited the spot and cleared the vehicles using cranes.

US Consulate in Dubai reportedly attacked
Dubai: Smoke was seen rising from an area near the United States Consulate in Dubai, according to witness accounts cited by Reuters.
There was no immediate official confirmation on the extent of damage or whether there were any casualties in the incident.
Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also attacked. Authorities reported damage to the premises, but no casualties were recorded.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Iran continuing to target US interests in the Middle East following deadly attacks launched on Saturday by Israel and the United States.
