Bantwal: Police have arrested three individuals in connection with a stabbing incident that took place at Bantwal Bypass on Wednesday. The altercation began as a verbal argument over a minor issue and escalated into violence.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Ashwath, Sharan, and Vasanth, all residents of Bantwal. The conflict occurred when two groups clashed, resulting in Pruthviraj and Vineeth from one group being stabbed by members of the opposing group. The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack.

Pruthviraj and Vineeth were initially admitted to Bantwal Government Hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Mangaluru for further treatment.
Police have managed to apprehend three of the suspects involved in the incident. The search continues for the remaining assailants.

The hackathon, open to tech enthusiasts and students from all over India, will feature a rigorous two-round process to ensure only the most talented and innovative teams make it to the final stage.
Event Structure
- First Round: Online Submission
Participants will submit ideas based on the provided themes and problem statements. Over 1,000 students from colleges across India are expected to participate in this round.
- Second Round: 24-Hour On-Campus Hackathon
Shortlisted teams will compete in an intense 24-hour hackathon at the AITM campus in Bhatkal. Approximately 25-30 teams, comprising the top 100 students, will be selected to participate in this final stage.
