Mandya: Four persons of a family killed in a terrible road accident near Gejjalagere on Bengaluru-Mysuru highway on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased have been identified as Mandya taluk Hebbakavadi's Ravi (31), his wife Manjula (28), son Sagar (8) and daughter Sukanya (6).

Ravi's Maruti Ritz car, which was proceeding from Bengaluru, lost control and rammed into a government bus heading in the opposite direction.  Subsequently, three persons killed on the spot while Manjula succumbed to the injuries in the VIMS hospital after she stopped responding to the treatment.

Madduru police have registered a case in this regard.
