Bande Mutt Seer Basavalinga Swamy dies by suicide in Karnataka's Ramanagar
Ramanagar: The Seer of a Mutt reportedly died by suicide inside the Matt at Solur in Maagadi Taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Maagadi Taluk’s Kunchagal Bande Mutt’s Basavalinga Swamy (45). He was found dead in his room in the Mutt, with a rope strangling his neck tied to the room’s window, it is learned.
The reason behind the apparent suicide is yet to be ascertained. The Kudoor police visited the site and conducted an inquiry.
