Bengaluru, September 16: State Congress incharge KC Venugopal said that the BJP’s money power would not work in Karnataka.
After holding a meeting with Coordination Committee president and former chief minister Siddaramaiah, KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao and working president Eshwar Khandre at the Kumara Krupa Guest House here on Sunday, he said that though the central government misused the central agencies like Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate, it’s money power would not have any impact on the state politics in Karnataka. The BJP would not succeed in its efforts, he said.
The Congress-JDS coalition government has no threat and it was stable and safe. It would complete five years term without any problem. There was no doubt in it, he clarified.
Shortly, Cabinet expansion would be made. The process would be completed by September. It would not be postponed at any cost. Jarkiholi brothers issue was not an issue as it would not have any problem on the coalition government, he clarified.
