BSY used horse-trading to subvert democracy: Congress
Bengaluru, July 26: The Karnataka Congress on Friday said that BJP state President B.S.Yeddyurappa (BSY) had used his excellent horse-trading skills to subvert democracy and come to power.
The Congress charge came minutes after the Raj Bhawan announced that Yeddyurappa would be sworn in as the new chief minister of the state later in the day.
Senior Congress leader and former MP V S Ugrappa also alleged that the Governor Vajubhai Vala was involved in the horse-trading conspiracy of the BJP and that is why he allowed the BJP to form the government even when the party has no simple majority in the state assembly to form the government.
"Corruption icon and former jail bird Shri BSY has used his excellent Horse Trading skills to subvert democracy and come to power," tweeted Congress.
"People of Karnataka remember his disastrous tenure as CM between 2008-2011, which ended with BSY in jail. History is all set to repeat again," it added.

ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರ ನಿಲುವು ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಬಾಹಿರ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನಾದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇದು ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಸಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಪಚಾರ.

The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has allowed free entry for spectators, requiring only an Aadhaar card and a photocopy. Fans have been allocated the Gautam Gambhir Stand, accessible through Gate Nos. 16 and 17, while Gate No. 6 is reserved for DDCA members and guests.
DDCA secretary Ashok Kumar Sharma stated that around 10,000 fans are expected on the first day, with arrangements matching those of an international or IPL match.
