Four held for stealing phones from IPL fans at Chinnaswamy Stadium
Bengaluru: The Cubbon Park police have arrested four persons, including three minors, for allegedly stealing mobile phones from fans who had come to watch an IPL match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
According to police, the accused took advantage of the heavy rush while spectators were entering the stadium and the crowd gathered after the match to commit the thefts.
A total of 21 mobile phones of various brands, collectively valued at around Rs 18 lakh, were recovered from the accused, police said.
