Heavy Rainfall continues to pour over Malenadu
Chikmagalur: The heavy Rains which began two days ago continued to fall in Malenadu even on Wednesday. Chikmagalur, Mudigere, Koppa, Springier, N. R. Pura Taluk have been experiencing heavy rainfall since Tuesday.
Mudigere’s Charmadi Ghat, Kottigehara, Balur received heavy downpour while everyday life became disrupted at Chikmagalur.
The torrential downpour has increased water levels of the Bhadra, Tunga, and Hemavati Rivers. Some region in Malenadu experienced power outages due to the extreme weather conditions.

Ram Sena activists vandalize massage parlor in Bejai, attack man
Mangaluru: A group of Ram Sena Karnataka activists allegedly vandalized a massage parlor in Bejai on Thursday, accusing it of engaging in immoral activities. The incident took place at the Colors Unisex Salon near Bejai KSRTC, where four women and a man were present at the time.
According to reports, around ten activists forcibly entered the premises and attacked the man before causing damage to the property. Following the incident, Barke police arrived at the scene and have begun an investigation.
