Karnataka: Man slits friend’s throat, drinks his blood over alleged ‘affair with wife’

Chikkaballapur: A man has been arrested who slit the throat of his friend and drank his blood after suspecting him of having an illicit relationship with his wife. The horrifying incident was reported in Chintamani taluk and the gory act was captured on camera which has gone viral on social media.
The arrested man, identified as Vijay from Batlahalli in Chintamani taluk, took Mahesh to a forest on June 19 and slit his throat with a weapon and consumed his blood while his another friend recorded the video.
Officials have said that the victim is undergoing treatment in a hospital. They added that a case of attempt to murder has been registered against Vijay at the Kencharlahalli police station.
