Nov 22: 178 new COVID-19 cases, 2 deaths in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka logged 178 fresh COVID-19 cases and two deaths on Monday, taking the total number of infections to 29,93,777 and the toll to 38,177.

 


Kalaburgi: Two Lorries destroyed in fire caused by road accident; two dead after burning alive

In a gruesome accident that occurred on Sunday night, two Lorries crashed into each other in a road accident resulting in both vehicles being engulfed in a fire. The drivers of both the vehicles were burned alive in the fire that broke out in the aftermath of the accident near Thonasanahalli village at Shahabad Taluk.

A total of 24 people have lost their lives due to incessant rains across the state since the beginning of this month, Karnataka Disaster Management Authority officials said on Sunday.
