Karnataka govt issues show cause notice to IAS officer for tweet on Tablighi Jamaat members

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government on Friday issued a show cause notice to an IAS officer over his recent tweet eulogising coronavirus-cured Tablighi Jamaat members for donating plasma for treatment of other patients.

A day after giving the nod for their one-time movement towards their destination, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Friday appealed to migrant workers to stay back in the state and co-operate with the government to resume economic activities.
