Bagalkote: As coronavirus pandemic spreading its wings, the death toll has risen to 4 in the state with the latest victim in Bagalkote.

Bagalkot: In what is said to be the first case in the District, a 75-year old man has reportedly tested positive for Corona Virus, Bagalkot DC Captain Dr. Rajendra informed.

Raichur: Maulana Sirajul Hasan Saheb, former National President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, former Vice President of Muslim Personal Law Board, veteran religious scholar and thinker;  passed away on Thursday evening at a private hospital in Raichur. He was 87.

 The students of seventh and eighth grade in the state whose final examinations were not conducted owing to the country-wide lockdown due to the spread of Coronavirus shall be promoted to next grades for the coming academic year without exams.
