Bengaluru: Union minister and senior BJP leader Ananth Kumar died at a hospital in Bengaluru early on Monday. The 59-year-old was reportedly suffering from cancer.

A team of seven specialist doctors is treating Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy as his health has declined.

Based on the doctors' opinion, he is taking rest at a private resort near Beeramballi in HD Kote taluk in Mysuru district. Kumaraswamy's wife Anita, and son Nikhil have accompanied him.
