Congress wins North-East Graduates constituency

Mysuru: Congress registered the first victory in the North-East Graduates constituency of Karnataka Legislative Council by ending the 30-year dominance of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Congress candidate Chandrashekhar B Patil beat his nearest rival K.B. Shrinivas of BJP by a margin of 321 votes.
