85% of migrant workers in Karnataka come from Bihar, Assam, Odisha, Jharkhand, WB, UP: Govt data

Karnataka is home to nearly a lakh registered migrant workers from across India, with 85% of them originating from just six states, namely, Bihar, Assam, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh, according to Labour Department data, cited by Deccan Herald on Sunday.
