Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday questioned the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the alleged delay in providing drought relief to Karnataka, and asked whether the BJP government is taking "revenge" on the state.

Bengaluru: A day after BJP Rajya Sabha member and Sandalwood actor Jaggesh surrendered his golden tiger claw locket to the forest officials, the former has moved to the high court on Thursday, questioning the operation of the department, which according to him searched his residence premises in the case of him wearing a tiger claw locket. The actor's plea is yet to be heard.

Bengaluru: The Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department took action on Thursday by issuing separate suspension orders for 27 Assistant Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers, and Junior Engineers working within the department.
