Primary teacher spends Rs 2.1 lakh, takes 17 students on air trip to Hyderabad for 100% attendance

Belagavi: A primary school teacher from Sonatti village in Belagavi district spent Rs 2.1 lakh from his savings to take 17 students on an air trip to Hyderabad as a reward for maintaining perfect attendance. Prakash Deyanna, a teacher at the Government Primary School in Sonatti, organized the trip on November 7, fulfilling a promise he had made to encourage regular attendance.
