Kalaburagi: In a tragic incident in Rajola village, located in Chittapur taluk, 11 sheep lost their lives due to a lightning strike. The incident occurred while it was raining, and the sheep were seeking shelter under a tree.

Chikkamagaluru: In an incident reported on Saturday, a 60-year-old man lost his life after being trampled by a wild elephant in the village of Kanchukal, located within the jurisdiction of the Aldur Division of the Forest Department, Arenoor village, Chikkamagaluru.
