Bengaluru: The Karnatak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCC&I) has given a call for a one-day strike across the state on June 22, opposing the hike in electricity tariff in the state.

The High Court of Karnataka has upheld the pardon granted to one of the accused in a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) case stating that the pardon is permissible if the testimony of the approver would help successfully prosecute the other accused in the case who may not get convicted by other means.

A bike rider was killed and the pillion rider injured in a collision between a bus and their two-wheeler near Talubettu in Hanur taluk, Chamrajnagar district, on Sunday.
