K Mahadeva, JD(S) legislator from Periyapatna, has alleged that the BJP tried to lure him with an offer of Rs 40 crore and a minister’s post, immediately after his victory in the Assembly elections.

 Four people, including two children, died in an accident near Navile Gate on Tiptur Main Road on Saturday, when their two-wheeler collided with a tractor.
