Mumbai: Comedian Kunal Kamra has released a new parody song, Hum Honge Kangaal, amid ongoing controversy over his video targeting Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The song, a satirical take on Hum Honge Kamyaab, includes lyrics such as "Mann mein Nathuram, harkatein Asaram, hum honge kangaal ek din," and depicts scenes of a mob burning his posters and vandalising The Habitat Club, where he had performed.

Kamra’s latest video comes after his earlier stand-up act, in which he called Shinde a "gaddar" and performed a parody song to the tune of Dil Toh Pagal Hai, sparked outrage from Shiv Sena supporters. Party workers protested outside The Habitat Club, damaged property, and filed complaints against Kamra at Khar and MIDC police stations.

Despite the backlash, Kamra has refused to apologize, stating, "It is not against the law to poke fun at leaders and the circus that is the political system." He also criticized the mob for vandalising the venue and reiterated that he would not be intimidated.
