Bengaluru: Karnataka assembly Speaker UT Khader responding to a question about a social media user condemning his attendance in a ‘Bhuta Kola’ (deity worship), stated that, “The President of our block had put an ‘Harake’ (an ask for divine favor) in accordance to his religion sentiments. It is our culture to respect their ‘Harake’ and attend the ‘Kola.’ The speaker was addressing the media at Vidhana Soudha on Saturday.
