Dubai: As part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge 30X30, the Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) held its Grand Closing Ceremony of Fitness Activities on Friday, 29th of November at the Al Mamzar Park. 

 


Gulf Medical University Provides 220 Healthcare Professionals to the Healthcare Sector of the UAE

His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council, UAE and Ruler of Ajman, conferred degrees on 220 graduates of the various colleges under Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman at the 16th Convocation Ceremony held on Wednesday, 27th November 2019, at the Emirates Hospitality Centre, Al Jurf, Ajman. The convocation ceremony was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council and several VIP dignitaries, presided by Dr. Thumbay Moideen – Founder, President Board of Trustees GMU and attended by Prof. Hossam Hamdy – Chancellor of GMU.

 A 47-year-old Indian man has been arrested in Sharjah after his wife, with a heavily swollen and bleeding eye, posted a video online alleging domestic abuse, according to media reports on Thursday.

Two Indians die in accidents in UAE

An Indian woman and a four-year-old Indian girl have died in two separate accidents in the UAE, according to media reports.

Doha School withdraws message that earlier announced its closure at the end of 2019-20 academic year

Doha Modern Indian School, Qatar (DMIS) on Thursday evening withdrew their earlier message wherein they had announced the closure of the school on Wednesday. The move had triggered panic and uncertainty to the parents and students of the school. The school had announced that it would close all the operations at the end of current academic year (2019-20) and had urged parents to ensure seats for their kids at other schools for academic year 2020-21.
