Make your votes count

In democracy, the citizens are kings and our elected representatives are there to serve us and the society we live in. Even when we know this is an illusion, there is some happiness in believing it. The citizens, no doubt, are kings and hence are important.

JD(S) with Owaisi; Politics of chameleons

The public campaigning has ended for the assembly elections in state. Though the national leaders were seen too frequently in the public rallies, they couldn’t really deliberate about why their party should be voted to power.

Two more days to go!

We are left with only two days for the election and this one has been a very high profile one with Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah ran this time around. Many rounds of campaigning has been done.

The Nobel Prize, deemed as the most prestigious honour across the globe, has been mired in controversies time and again. Despite its significant cause of identifying the most outstanding personalities whose contribution has been significant to the betterment of the world, the global forces that work behind this committee have always been questioned by people.

Aadhaar is without security support

In one of his campaign speeches, Prime Minister Modi has said though his party is all set to digitize India through technology-empowerment the opposition parties are opposing to that tooth and nail. As usual, the Prime Minister has only spoken the half-truth in this matter. Yes, some of the most technically-informed and sound minds are opposing across-the-board implementation of Aadhar without adequate preparation.
