The Additional District and Sessions Court, the Fast Track Special Court and POCSO Special Court (AFTSC-2) on Monday sentenced the man convicted of raping a girl in a train carriage at the Central Railway Station in the city to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 50,000.

 A youngster was reportedly murdered for his money on a train traveling from Bengaluru to Murdeshwar, as discovered during an inspection by the railway coach manager on Friday. A case has been registered at the Mulki police station regarding the incident.
