What was meant to be a road safety awareness drive by the Uttara Kannada police has ended up highlighting the very lapse it sought to prevent.

A mini tempo transporting fish caught fire and was completely gutted on the Kasaragod–Mangaluru National Highway near Mogral Puthur on Sunday afternoon.
