Karwar: Deputy Commissioner Prabhuling Kavalikatti, who also serves as the chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority in Uttara Kannada District, issued an order declaring holidays to schools and PU Colleges in the district for July 25 in response to the prevailing weather conditions.

Mangaluru: In light of the heavy rains affecting Dakshina Kannada District, Deputy Commissioner Mulai Muhilan, who also serves as the chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority, has taken measures to ensure safety. He declared a holiday on Tuesday, July 25, for all schools and PU Colleges in the district.
