Holiday on July 4 for schools and colleges in 5 taluks of DK for heavy rains

Due to heavy rains in several parts of Dakshina Kannada, Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan has declared a holiday for schools and colleges in Mangaluru, Mulki, Ullal, Moodbidri and Bantwal taluks on July 4, Tuesday.

Heavy rains: DK DC makes important announcement about declaring holidays to schools, colleges

Mangaluru: In light of the ongoing heavy rainfall in the Dakshina Kannada (DK) district, Tahsildars, who are revenue officers in charge of taluks, have been granted the authority to declare holidays for local schools and colleges as a precautionary measure. The decision was announced by District Collector Mullai Muhilan, who emphasized the need for proactive measures to ensure the safety of students and staff during inclement weather conditions.
